Not that I don’t trust what ur saying but how/ why is this so much different than other spells? Why does this specific spell hit the caster and family first but other spells can be targeted or not effect the person casting first?

1000% I've done truth spells and I am always the first to spill the tea after and I am always a lock box for peoples secrets. So, yes 1000% be careful with the truth if you've got secrets to spill of your own. If you dont know your own self it can backlash. Fortunately for me, I will swallow that whole and except the truth I am speaking because I knew it needed to be said but sometimes those spells give you the words your heart can't seem to find.

There are some really good responses in these comments, but I'm still curious about the "why". I've wanted to cast a truth spell to try to get closure from a relationship. I'm pretty self-aware and not close to any family or friends so I'm wondering how this would affect me? Any thoughts, anyone?
