Overthinking this. You are boiling the ocean. It took 3 series to get acclimated to the speed and efficiency of the navy offense. After that happened, what Navy had 60 yards in the second half? Miamis defense is the one that’s vulnerable imo.

Stats are skewed with back to back offenses that run the option. If Miami played those teams they would be ranked way lower as well. Also keep in mind Navy is the 2nd ranked rushing offense in CFB.

Judging ND on the run D against Navy is dumb. They were held to 66% of their production. It would be equally dumb to brag about the pass D against Navy. It means nothing

And if you are going to use Navy’s rush offense against NDs D, then use the passing results as well. ND gave up 20 yards. Their offense skews it both ways.
