@dogrescuedude: Update number 2 for this sweet girl tonight and it’s the long crawl to the office of second chances. Pearl was abandoned before coming to The City of Mobile Animal Services and so we are hanging out in the lobby of second chances tonight but eventually made it all the way into the office. She seems to have had puppies at some point in the past and had some stomach issues which have all been corrected now. We would love to find this girl a home. She is 3 years old, weighs 65lbs and great with dogs, cats and people Adoption application link; https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/COMASAL #dogsoftiktok #dogs #fyp #OfficeOfSecondChances #foryoupage

It's the absolute sadness in their eyes that gets me. I just don't understand why someone would take the joy from an animals eyes.

California voters have approved Proposition 1, authorizing the state to sell $11.25 billion in bonds to fund affordable housing programs, the Associated Press projected. Written by state lawmakers, the measure aims to provide up to 40,000 multifamily rental units and assist another 40,000 households in buying a home, specifically targeting veterans, seniors, teachers and essential workers. Of the $11.25 billion in bonds, $1.25 billion would go towards veteran housing, while the rest would fund rental homes, homeownership programs, farmworker housing, affordable student housing, tribal housing and more.
