@iconsxicons: The Blair Witch Project brought found-footage horror to the mainstream, and films like Paranormal Activity, REC and Cloverfield followed in its footsteps. Roger Ebert put it simply: "The noise in the dark is almost always scarier than what makes the noise in the dark." Heather Donahue's tearful close-up became the image everyone remembers, even though she had learned to use a camera in a two-day crash course. Joshua Leonard and Michael C. Williams made their fear and anger feel completely unscripted, because it mostly was. Years later, all three said they never shared fairly in the film's huge success. Twenty-seven years on, one shaky flashlight beam in the dark still brings that whole summer back. 📸✨ 🎬 The Blair Witch Project 3-Lead Timeline Summary (1999 Release vs 2026 Status) • Joshua Leonard [Josh] (Born 1975-06-17) : Age 24 in 1999 ➔ Age 51 in 2026 • Heather Donahue (now Rei Hance) [Heather] (Born 1974-12-22) : Age 24 in 1999 ➔ Age 51 in 2026 • Michael C.
