I remember waiting at the bus stop after an appointment finding out I ultimately needed chemo. I watched people walk by in work groups, friend groups, alone, just going about regular life. And I missed so much not having cancer on my mind. Just walking from point a to point b, neither point having to do with a cancer appointment…

I get that. I hate that I have to climb stairs to do laundry and haul groceries. Then I remember that some people wish the could climb stairs.

My brother is 28 days out from his CAR-T cell reintroduction. I’m with him and I can’t imagine how he’ll deal with the next two months of waiting for his PET scan. He’s very fatigued and still has abdominal pain:(

as a breast cancer survivor this is true. to just feel healthy, to not have a million appointments, for my taste buds to be normal. I would've given anything to feel the wind blowing through my hair. to put my hair in a bun on a lazy day instead of a hat. I have all of those things back now ofc (NED for 8 years) but I don't forget those things.
