As robotics engineer, lots and lots of linear algebra is done but software does all the calculation for you

Algebra, some trig. I’m an aerospace engineer but I do electrical and data connectors for the military and aerospace industry. Most of my job is in CAD designing parts and making sure things fit, or making drawings for said parts. Probably most of my math is in GD&T min and max boundary calcs, and making sure everything works out.

I’m a physicist, and just on a daily basis? I mean, excluding algebra as a trivial answer, I use a fuck load of vector calculus. But really I use everything from basic trig to PDEs pretty regularly.

My dad counts the amount of people he yells at on a daily basis if that helps

as an RF engineer I look at number on sig gen, check number on Freq gen, put dot on hill on oscilloscope. put funny numbers in computer, hit enter.

Tons of algebra. Pretty much everything you learn in high school. Idk if calculus is standard in high school anymore but there’s a good amount of that too.

algebra, geometry, and linear alegbra everyday. Calculus concepts everyday but the math only sometimes. Coding everyday (im counting this).

trig, linear regression (R^2 best fit), electrical formulas, noise filters, communication formulas, GPS projections, random other formulas depending on the situation. filters and PID controllers probably the most complex it gets.

Algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus sometimes, differential equations sometimes, linear algebra sometimes, more depending on what you're doing.

Less pencil-and-paper math, but you really need to be comfortable *thinking* in terms of trig, linear algebra, statics to efficiently problem-solve
