@the_childrens_bread: Some people don’t want deliverance, they want RELIEF. They want the demons to stop tormenting them, but they are unwilling to do the work that is required of them to be fully delivered. Deliverance requires change, and ongoing surrender to Christ, and there are some areas of people’s lives where you will encounter a wall of resistance because they are unwilling to invite Jesus into THAT part of their pain, sin, and darkness. You can’t condemn them, but you also can’t do anything about it except PRAY for them as you leave them in God’s hands. People have free will and they have to get to a place where they’ve had enough suffering and decide to evict the demons on their own. Be gentle, loving, and honest, but know your limitations friends. Keep in mind that there is a difference between them struggling as they surrender their strongholds to God, and REFUSING to surrender their strongholds to God. If they are struggling, that means they are trying and you should show them grace and patience.
