In March 2025, I told my ex we were done. He slammed my head into a wooden cabinet so hard my ears rang, then threw me into walls, breaking drywall. I screamed for my four kids to run, but instead they came out armed with a golf club, a baseball bat, a huge carving stick, and my youngest, bless his heart, had a NERF GUN. 😭❤️My ex got scared, ran, and disappeared for two weeks. My kids immediately rushed to check on me and grabbed frozen peas for my injuries. They never should've had to protect me. He's now serving 14 years in prison.

I ran barefoot in the snow dragging my sister behind me to beg the neighbor to stop my dad from killing my mom . Then I fell into domestic violence myself and suddenly I understood but I still couldn’t leave. I lost custody of my children after the last beating . I’ve been free for a year and I just got my kids back

I was 10 and I felt something wrong I was panicking I ran home my toddler brother was gone and my abusive dad , I left my younger sisters home told them to listen for my jingle and I ran as frantically as I could yelling for him, I found my brother in a giant t shirt 5 blocks away no diaper covered in feces then I found my dad close behind drunk , I yelled at him I screamed he punched me to the ground but I got up when I saw my baby brother dropping to the ground in the fetal position covering his head I kicked my dad in the balls from behind and he fell as I grabbed my brother and ran home as fast as we could

my mom had to go to court so her boyfriend at the time accused her of lying and going to meet a guy. he was choking her and shoving her against the wall. she kept begging me to leave that it's okay. I ran up and starting hitting him as hard as I could. he threatened to kill me and swore at me up and down. I took off into the hallways of our apartment complex screaming and crying for help banging on every door. one woman who knew us, sue, came barreling out. she shoved me into her apartment and told me not to come out. the cops took him and escorted us. I saved my mom but Sue saved me. I was 12.

From 5-14 we lived with the devil, I was in the 6th grade and when she came running down the hallway screaming “now, now” he threw her against my door way and strangled her almost to the point of her passing out. We finally got him out my freshman year but I’ll never forget it. I’m adopted so she’s extra special to and all I have❤️

At 11, I got thrown into a half wall that had a lip while running to my front door to get my younger brother out of the house while my mother was beat. I got back up and still ran to my neighbours and just bawled that he was beating my mother. Police got to my house to her face having nail marks, clothes ripped and house belongings thrown / walls punched and more.

I was 11 he was breaking down the door with a knife for both of us she shoved me out the window. She went back to him, this was the second time he tried to ☠️me. My dad finally got full custody.

as someone who also watched her mom be abused you did amazing 🥰😭 I saved my momfrom her abusers I was labeled a monster child because I wouldnt let any men near my mom until my stepdad when I decided he was rhe one she stayed with him till they both died 😭

As a former abused mother, thank god it never came to this😭 He did the same but my kids were all sleeping and too young to understand. I got away eventually after 7 years and I hope they’ll never remember what happened in that house 💔

one day, my dad was hitting my brother, my mom tried stopping him and he started beating the both of them, I stepped between them and screamed for him to stop, crying my heart out, he stopped and started apologizing from that day on I never saw my father as a father, I was only 10 years old

I was the one that kept running away from my abuser but police kept failing me and putting me more in danger until he almost k!lled me i will never forget myself running pregnant and with me new born baby and then running again when she is one hoping one day they saving us..
