@midnight_case_vault: In Idaho, eighteen-year-old daycare worker Maria "Mia" Ackerman is held on a one-million-dollar bond after prosecutors revealed video capturing her violently shaking, suffocating, and beating infants at a Boise facility. According to Ada County prosecutors and Law&Crime, police investigated New Horizon Academy on East Boise Avenue after an October 27, 2026 child injury referral. Video revealed Ackerman abused four infants. Prosecutor Joshua Haws stated a five-month-old suffered over a minute of violent assault, including thirty-five seconds of straight shaking, being swung by the neck, and having his face pressed against her chest while squeezed tightly. The five-month-old suffered a fractured rib, a broken tibia, and brain damage from oxygen deprivation. Cameras also caught Ackerman slamming an infant's head onto a changing table and punching babies with closed fists. Ackerman was fired immediately, arrested by Boise police, and charged with four felony counts of injury to a child. This is why I don't trust daycare for my children. This is so wild!! They better keep her in solitary because they will eat her alive in jail and prison. They just need to go straight out of our stratosphere. If she is sentenced she needs to be sterilized. Wow...just fucking sad. I am so sorry for the families that trusted this place to take their children. I will be praying for these babies and their families 🙏
