According to my mom, when I was about 3/4 I was sitting in my high chair just doing my thing in the kitchen while she was doing whatever when I suddenly stopped, looked at her and said “it’s okay mommy, he’s not hurting anymore.” 20 minutes later she got a call from my dad who told her his dad had passed away.

My mom miscarried at 16 and had me at 23. But for my whole childhood I had told people I had an older brother. When I was 16 my mom told me the story because she thought I was ready. She got halfway through telling me before I blurted out that I knew and that it was a boy. My mom and I still don’t understand how I knew but somehow I still feel like I’m missing a part of me

3 is the age that children have developed their language skill enough to tell us these things.

As Hindu, we believe in incarnation. I believe many of them return to the family, especially if the family members are close.

I had a miscarriage of twins on dec 11 95, got pregnant again and had my son on dec 11 96 and a 2017 he and his wife had a set of twins. I knew they’d come eventually. I waited a long time for the circle to close.

my cousins little girl only met my father once before he passed, she was 3 months old. at her 3rd birthday she asked my mum if she could look at the photos on her phone when she got to the photo of my dad she said "Ray helped me find it." Ray was my dads name and she didn't know it. when asked how she knew the man's name and what did he help find she ran out of the room quick and came back with something, she said "he sat at the foot of my bed and told me his name and that he was sorry he had to go and that she never got to know him" then he pointed to a box and said look. when she opened her hands she had a small photo of my dad that nobody had seen or could or would have given her. it was located in a house he never got to visit. that photo is now framed and sits beside her bed.

If I remember correctly, that at 3 children start realise that they are a person and because language develops very quickly children often repeat things without correct concepts in place like time flow. Also they are better at retaining information even briefly heard from conversations that weren't ment for them and adults are often unavare that kids could herd those conversations. And thanks to the fact that human nature is to create connections to our lived experience the statements from our toddlers, that can be easily connected to our experience before they were born, those statements tends to stand out.

No talking to a person in a coma does nothing. I spent 2.5 weeks talking to my daughter while she was in a coma and on a vent.

When my eldest was 3 years old (he's now 14), he told me that Michael Jackson used to babysit him! This was back in 2015!
I was SHOCKED and asked him to repeat himself. Then I showed him a photo of Michael Jackson, and he said, "YES! That's him!"
The creepy part? I never played Michael Jackson's music, and we didn't even have regular TV. It was Netflix and VHS movies only at that time.
