my dentist hasn't been able to fix an overbite in 4 years of going, somewhere along the way put expanderwhich broke, didnt fix it, and that pushed one side of my palate higher than the other, made my bite uneven by misusing bite blocks, still hadnt been able to align the teeth in FOUR YEARS and now is trying recess my midface to fix the overbite instead of admitting he fucked up and I need surgery, when I turn 18 I think I might sue him for this extreme malpractice

Hi, I'm from Argentina. I don't know whether to go to a respiratory specialist or just another dentist. I've already been to two dentists, and they both said I don't need it, but I can't bite properly anymore. The only thing the last dentist I consulted suggested was orthodontics and extraction of my bottom teeth. Obviously, I said no, but I don't know which specialist to go to for a recommendation. Does a respiratory specialist examine the teeth and palate to determine if my airways are okay? I really don't want to spend money only to be told I don't need my expander. :(
