my dad and me always said every night goodnight I love you, cause we wanted the last thing we said at the end of the day to be i love you, so no matter what happened we would have that. the day he died I left to go get some help with some legal issues cause I really wasn't a great guy. I did drugs and screwed up alot. I guess you can say I was the son that went down the wrong path and stayed in the dark too long, but i always thought there would be time to be the son he wanted me to be. We still said goodnight I love you every night before he went to bed or when I would gonto bed. thay never changed growing up. the last 12 years I took care of him but I knew he didnt think I would do much and in a way he was right I never really change much over the years since the day he died. I came back home from getting some advice on what to do with the legal issues and I found him on the floor of his bedroom. he had a massive heart attack and even though i found him it wasn't early enough to get him back. three days later we let him go and I regret letting him die alone on a floor in my house cause of stupid shit that only got in between us, but he never stopped saying I love you no matter how much of a piece of shit I became. I miss him still. he was a wonderful dad and all i had. dont let stupid shit be a problem. I hate this post but only because how it makes me feel but im glad I came across it, because I love to remember him even if its sad sometimes. 🌹
