Its actually $3,200 before taxes and after taxes take that down to $2,700 minus $1,800 for rent minus another $700 for bills and the $967 for gas and food you have -$747 every month

Well, you got the taxes that will be taken out. Health insurance and copays - sure, you could maybe survive on this but you’d never be able to save or have an emergency fund.

The taxes and don’t forget if you have health insurance or if you have money going into your 401(k) or Dental insurance I make 25.50 an hour i’ll have maybe $400 left for the month but I have to eat so that’s groceries and don’t forget about gas it’s too expensive to live

Take out all of the taxes. Take out all of the insurances and retirement. Then see what you have left to pay rent, car insurance, rental insurance, car payment, utilities, groceries, fuel, and other bills throughout the month.

your situation is not everyone else’s. Just because you don’t struggle doesn’t mean other people “shouldn’t be” there’s more bills than rent lol. Also do you have children to provide for?
