I was dropped off here in my Uber and thought I’d film the walk through so you know what to expect! I also spotted this fantastic accessibility service called Melbourne Airport Assist, which I thought was worth sharing. A few things to know: • Assistance from the drop-off area to your airline check-in. • Assistance from baggage reclaim back to your pickup point when you arrive. • Available 7 days a week, from 3am to 1am. • Staff are available at the designated assistance area. • For enquiries, call 0492 868 960. Such a helpful service for anyone who needs a little extra support navigating the airport. Save this for your next trip or share it with someone who might find it useful!

also can you imagine like I am now being disabled so I could dropped off with my luggage and I have a walker and I have to walk even 100 or 150 meters to get to one of those pick up areas and how long do you think you're gonna be waiting for those an hour to hours so you're complete trip is six hours priority flying out

There’s a huge expansion happening. The terminal building is being extended and will be built out over the old Departures Drive, hence the need to move drop off/pick up.
