I’m in cyber security. I’ve put in over 1500+ applications in a year. Not worth it. If I don’t find something soon I’m pivoting out. Highly recommend finding something else AI, Doge, and tech bros can’t touch.

Got a CS degree w/ cyber concentration in May…. Had a job a month later making close to 100k. Go out, meet people (Create connections), apply for everything in your desired path within CS, and practice everything to make yourself versatile!

mmm this is not so accurate . i got a job 2 months after grad and internships even before ( i dont go go internships straight to job ) but you need to work hell hard on projects before even submitting your cvs and you must own a portfolio and in todays ai era they need more than a todo list .

in 2022, after finishing a bachelor's in psychology in 2020 and being unable to get more than retail, I went back for a master's in comp sci through a special bridge program at a highly regarded engineering college. I finally finished it last May. Now I can't even get retail because I'm "too overqualified."
