@isahstudio.com: Ore Agbako, 2026. Those whom life has blessed sometimes think the world is a bed of roses. I wish this were true for everyone. Today, my maid travelled back to Calabar to visit her sick mum and spend some time with her family. So, I had to visit the market to buy stockfish and crayfish to prepare egusi soup for my husband. This was the first time I had visited a market since I was born. After buying everything, a young man approached me. His face looked so familiar. He offered to wheel my goods to my car, saying, "Madam wey soft like you no suppose dey drag load" He said his name was Jubril and that he was 32 years old, a graduate of MAPOLY with a degree in Computer Science. I asked him how he had ended up wheeling a barrow in the market. He said, "Madam, that story long oo. I no even like dey think about the story, con to talk am." He explained that it all started one day when he left his house for an interview in Ikate. When he got to his junction in Yaba, then EFCC picked him up for internet fraud. They alleged that I had sold a club in England to some Arab investors. I was then transferred to Interpol. I couldn't contact any family members unless I agreed to help them find this so-called friend. No lawyer, bail or court date was provided. As we walked out of the market complex, every passer-by hailed him, calling him "Jaja of Opobo" and saying he was the king of merchants in that market. He had this big smile on his face, even while telling me his story. As we approached my car, he said, "Madam, make I finish this story, make you no dey drive and dey wonder how e end." He continued, explaining that they had eventually discovered that his friend had used his full name and credentials while plotting the scam. This was supposed to be his best friend. "They let me go after three years, he said. My name is Francesca Ignatius, wife of Sunday Festus Ignatius, whom I know to be Jubril's so-called best friend. I know this because the first thing I did when I got home was check a picture of the friend my husband always talked about going missing. #isahvrexperience #isahvr #isah
