@cowboysbeat: The #Cowboys WANTED To Interview Ben Johnson!

FatherOfMammals :

So it’s Dak’s fault

DJ(“)8 :

If the commanders let of Dan Quinn go, I wouldn’t mind getting back as a DC

RGV80 :

No high level coach wants to deal with Jerry. I doubt Dak had anything to do with it. It was a nice way of spinning it

Greyhound :

Read about 80% of these responses thinking that he didn’t want Dak please? He didn’t want to be under Jerry telling him how to run his Offense

Troll Hunter :

Jerry Jones is the reason, the QB thing was a PC response

ablakeblake :

Ben Johnson is a smart guy. In all seriousness what real HC that wants to win will come to Dallas?

eric gonzales977 :

So I have a question for everyone and this is something I’ve been thinking for a minute if this is the case OK do you see Dak Prescott being the quarterback of this team next year or do they try to trade him because I don’t see Schottenheimer lasting past this year and since Schottenheimer was kind of Daks guy because remember it was reported that Dak had a big hand in getting Schottenheimer hired as the head coach do you see him possibly getting traded because in my honest opinion I do

GDOTKING48👑 :

Jerry would have been pissed not getting all the attention

Tiberius519 :

Ben Johnson told the Bears organization that he would only come there if they were serious about making the necessary changes to win. Jerry would not be able to handle that type of honesty 😂

bman44203 :

He wanted an owner who doesn't try to do the GM job

user9405609566199 :

He wanted nothing to do with Jerry Jones

Slade Maloney :

Good for him. He would never be able to do here what his doing in Chicago. Without google name the Bears owner and GM

Felix :

So Prescott holding us back ??

Dre :

It wasn’t just about going to a team with a young quarterback. He passed over a lot of teams, but also a reason he wouldn’t go to Dallas is because Jerry Jones. He doesn’t wanna work with the owner like that.

raulrodriguez5829 :

He saw the writing on the wall with the Cowboys. Dak is closing in end of his career. Jerry is too meddling with being a GM. All Ben Johnson has to look at the last 10 years of coaches coming and going. No input of drafting players and scouting them.

A4 :

False, Dan Campbell told him that he didn’t see him and Jerry working out. Once the Jones family got wind of him not being interested in the job and heard his asking price annually, they quickly pivoted to save face.

jimmy rempel :

As long as Jerry Jones is alive, we're screwed💯✌️

realtalk2343 :

bro, he wasn’t coming to Dallas, so it don’t even much matter. Don’t nobody wanna deal with Jerry Jones

Josh214tx :

Why lie they didn’t want to pay him look how much the HC makes now it’s low

Yessy :

Hondo48 :

Having to go through the Jones’s in all the decisions made would be a headache for any real coach.

RC_Rich :

Yeah, the Commanders didn’t want DQ but had to settle once Johnson didn’t want the job.

WaynesWorldMyFriends :

Jerry doing interviews 10 minutes after the game is over talking about what should and shouldn't have happened on the field will drive away all the good coaches ask Jimmy Johnson

Abbasid_8zero4 :

I think he had his eye set on Chicago and nobody else

Supa :

Jerry ain't paying no coach, he's too greedy Shotty making 4 mil, he would be 9th highest paid coach in the Big 12 🤣
