We didn’t just backtest the ORB and call it a day. We’ve spent a LOT of time trying to understand whether this strategy actually has an edge against the prop-firm products. Beyond the initial backtest, which accounts for commissions, fees, and execution assumptions, we’ve run: Out-of-sample testing, walk-forward optimization, Monte Carlo simulations, cluster analysis, and parameter sensitivity testing. The results have been extremely encouraging. Our Scalping ORB system produced 1,623 out-of-sample trades with a 78.68% win rate, while walk-forward efficiency averaged 98.8% across the entire testing grid. We’ve also run variations of the ORB live, received prop-firm payouts ourselves, and watched members do the same. Now it is important to understand that the ORB is regime-dependent. Markets change and edges decay. That's exactly why we have multiple ORB variations and continue testing and adapting them as conditions change. The goal isn't to build something that can never fail.
