Koreatown is celebrating all weekend! 🇰🇷 The 53rd Los Angeles Korean Festival is happening Thursday through Sunday at Seoul International Park in the heart of Koreatown. This one is especially meaningful to me because my parents used to take us to the Korean Festival when we were little, and now I get to experience it with my daughter and her grandparents. Three generations enjoying the same festival. ❤️🇰🇷 We went on Thursday, and there’s plenty to check out: 🍜 Korean food vendors + lots of samples before you buy 💄 Discounted K-beauty + Korean products 🎁 Lots of freebies! Many booths offer samples or gifts for following them on Instagram 🎤 Live performances, concerts + entertainment 🛍️ Tons of vendors to browse PARENT TIP: There weren’t many activities specifically for kids when we went. We found one booth with coloring + free stickers and another with a balloon artist, but I’d come mainly for the food, shopping, performances and overall festival experience. 🚗 WEEKEND TIP: I went on Thursday, so expect Saturday + Sunday to be much busier. Parking in Koreatown can already be tricky, and a lot of the surrounding options are street parking. Give yourself extra time to find a spot.
