I have an induction stove and its lack of temperature control is frustrating. With gas you can lift the pan and fine tune temperature. With induction the pan must stay on the burner to receive heat.

Certified indoor gas hater here - I’ll do this on a bbq or with a kitchen torch rather than pay the cost health wise and money wise because it’s just not worth it

they are banning it soon in parts of Sydney NSW, unfortunately. it's allowed if it's already installed in the houses but any newly built houses won't have it.
