Please sir, to those that came in 2022 via studies, did 2yrs post study and got COS this year ,can they add up the previous years towards the 10yrs?Because I think there's also a pathway that leads to Ilr for anyone that stays in the country legally for 10yrs.

IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION ON THE TWO TRANSITIONAL ARRANGEMENTS IN THE EARNED SETTLEMENT STATEMENT. The Government Has Introduced Two Separate Transitional Protections, And It Is Important Not To Confuse Their Eligibility Conditions. 1. EXISTING ADULT SOCIAL CARE WORKERS The Requirement Is That The Individual Must Have Entered Or Switched Into The Care Worker Route Before The Publication Of The Immigration White Paper In May 2025. They Must Also Meet The Applicable Salary, Sponsorship And Employment Requirements To Retain The Five-Year Settlement Route. 2. PUBLIC SERVICE: HEALTH AND EDUCATION This Is A Separate Arrangement Covering Eligible Healthcare And Education Workers Below RQF Level 6, Such As Nursing Auxiliaries And Teaching Assistants, Who Came To The UK Before The May 2025 Immigration White Paper Publication And Meet The Requirements Of Their Visa. PLEASE NOTE THE IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE: For Adult Social Care Workers, The Government Refers To When They Entered Or Switched Into The Care Worker Route. For Eligible Healthcare And Education Workers, The Government Refers To When They Came To The UK. Therefore, Someone Who Was Already In The UK Before May 2025 And Subsequently Received An NHS Certificate Of Sponsorship May Still Fall Within The Second Transitional Arrangement, Subject To Meeting All The Relevant Conditions. READ THE WORDING CAREFULLY. THE TWO ARRANGEMENTS ARE NOT THE SAME.
