I told a girl the whole point of dating is to see what works and what doesn’t and she was disgusted💀

I followed you because I didn’t agree with something you said. It triggered something and I knew I had to learn from you.

“Why can’t you just talk me through this so I feel better” — why do I have to do this every day of my life?? This is not the reality I want

I never understood people who were like, trying to "make it work" a few weeks in, like, you guys, stop dating each other, you aren't compatible. It shouldn't be like that

Yall realize we’re not supposed to have anxious attachment? lol. The goal is to move toward healthy attachment?

Was in a talking stage w someone in August and I ended it because most of the time was spent with her saying I wasn’t meeting her needs and asking for constant reassurance and she acted surprised that I thought it was best we end things 😭✌️like bro we’re not even dating and you’re suffocating me

As an anxious you’re doing good work, it’s not normal to be SO bothered by texts or lack of. This person isn’t your enemy friends, go to therapy.

Don't be a bottomless black hole of need. It's not a good foundation for a relationship.

It sounds so emotionally abusive. I dont understand how some people dont see how this behavior is toxic at worst and emotionally draining for the person you supposedly care about

My ex and I had multiple conversations about how it was so neglectful of me to not stay the night at her place because I won't leave my dog home alone overnight. She was jealous of my dog.

I’m of the opinion that anxious attachment is actually the covert abuse that they claim avoidant attachment is.

also I think if you feel that youre needs arent met in the beginning (unless you have some crazy expectations) and you find yourself fighting for everything because youre not feeling wanted from the start, you should move on.

My ex hadanxious attachment and would torture me by forcing me to stay awake until 5 in the morning, while we circled the same subject over and over again. Picking apart every single detail he saw or perceived about every interaction he had with his mom, his friends, his coworkers, people he participated in hobbies with, me. the kids. Because he thought his need to understand was more important than anything else. That if he could just understand why someone did something it would solve the puzzle in his brain, amd even when he figured it out he would hyperfocus on that because then all of the sudden their actions didnt make sense to him because thats not how he would have handled the situation amd we'd start all over again. It was exhausting and abusive. I'm not saying all people with anxious attachment are like this. But y'all need to realize that often your brain is lying to you and its your job to manage your emotions, not everyone elses.

Idk I thought I had an anxious attachment until I met my current partner (a therapist) who from the jump was stable, communicative, and made me feel wanted, I had none of those anxious behaviors and haven’t in years
