Having bright lights in the darker nights is surely a good thing? Each to their own but I don't see the issue. What about families with ill relatives that might not make it to Christmas?

I'm putting mine up a bit sooner this year. Due the day after Christmas so times running out for me to physically be able to do it myself. I had a preemie last time so if it doesn't go up early it might not get up at all 😅

I’m putting mine up this weekend as I’m due my first baby on Dec 10th 🥺💖 I want to see it and know my baby is coming the following month. My husband lost his grandad a month before we found out we were pregnant and he also deserves to feel joy and excitement after a tough year. Everyone has their own reasons for decorating early - leave people be 🥺💖
