The two reportedly worked at Amazon together, and Washington had allegedly been fired. But even losing his job wasn't enough to keep him away from Aleziah. Screenshots circulating from her TikTok account show repeated messages from an account named TayeMane, including “Please,” “Bro pick up,” “Who house r u at,” and “Bro stop playing who are u with.” Her profile also displayed the name “go away.” The messages raise troubling questions about unwanted contact and possible stalking before her death. On Sunday afternoon, around 2:30 p.m., Virginia Beach police responded to a shooting in the parking lot of an Amazon facility in the 1800 block of Twin Mills Road, near Dam Neck Road. Officers discovered Aleziah and Washington deceased at the scene. According to investigators, surveillance footage showed Washington fatally shooting Aleziah. Police initially described their relationship as still under investigation and had not confirmed their employment status. Amazon temporarily closed the facility and offered support to affected employees.
