She was the pilot monitoring. In that role she would be monitoring the instruments and communicating with ATC. I am so fed up about this. Male and Female pilots recieve the same amount of training, they have to get the same amount of hours before they anyone would hire them. Plus there was no pilot skilled enough to get them out of that dive

a good copilot would have intervened and not let the aircraft fly into a thunderstorm, tried to help correct the situation they were in. Communicating is last on the priority list.

ATC had known about the huge cluster storm over FL and had a warning for the entire area known as a convective sigmet. This sigmet warns to stay at least 20 miles away from storms. Despite this foreknowledge, they didn't direct the pilot in advance to either turn around or to take a different path outside of that sigmet. Instead, despite the copilot requesting a better ride/path, ATC advised them to proceed, stating that better rides were just ahead, flying them right into the storm core, which caused their crash. Notice how very other plane was guided to avoid the storm -except this one. He needs to be investigated.
