when I transferred permanently to another unit, I had to orient to that unit for two days. (to oncology, somewhat different to my previous step down unit) anyway, the first day off of orientation, staffing sent me back to step down for the shift. say what now? then, my second night off of orientation, they bloody well floated me again to step down!! seriously guys? I just left there to stay on my new floor, and we're not even in the same cohort!! they tried a third night, i said absolutely not. I left there for a reason, and I've yet to actually do a shift on my new floor.
