@qwiktwik.com: New 144 Hz monitor but games still feel choppy? It's probably running at 60 Hz. Windows often starts new monitors at 60, not at their maximum. How to set your monitor to 144 Hz on Windows 11: 1. Press Win + R, type ms-settings:display and press Enter 2. Scroll down and click Advanced display 3. Open Choose a refresh rate 4. Pick the highest number 144 Hz not in the list? Check the cable and the port. For a 1440p 144 Hz monitor, HDMI 1.4 isn't enough. DisplayPort 1.2 or newer, or HDMI 2.0 or newer, gets you the full refresh rate. Plug it into the graphics card, not the motherboard. Check yours and tell me your number in the comments 👇 Save this for your next monitor. 300+ tweaks like this in QwikTwik. #144hz #gamingmonitor #GamingSetup #windows11 #pctips
