I haven't run them yet, but I'm curious. 👇 READ BELOW What it is: Knowledge Work Plugins are 11 free add-ons from Anthropic that give Claude a starting playbook for jobs like sales, marketing, customer support and finance. Each one is a reusable set of instructions and shortcuts, so you don't re-explain the same workflow every time. They were built for Claude Cowork, and they also work with Claude Code. How to use it: 1. Step 1: open the GitHub project and find the plugin that matches your job. 2. Step 2: add it to Claude Cowork or Claude Code, following the project's instructions. 3. Step 3: try it on a few low-stakes test tasks first, like practice tickets, before real work. 4. Step 4: edit the instructions to match how your workplace does things, since no two do it the same way. Why it matters: You stop retyping the same instructions for repeat tasks. In sales there's a shortcut for prepping an upcoming call, and in support there are workflows for drafting responses, organizing tickets and preparing escalations. With the right connections, Claude can also pull info from tools like Slack and Notion. Why not: The plugins are free but your Claude access may still cost money, so check permissions before connecting work accounts, especially with customer or internal data, and make sure your workplace allows it.
