ONE BENCH. 6 WAYS TO TRAIN LEGS + GLUTES 💪🏼🔥 + the weights im using 🧐👇🏼 Save this for your next leg day! Here’s the moves + weight for each move I’m using… 1️⃣ Hamstring curls (27.5lbs) 2️⃣ Side leg step-ups (25lbs ea) 3️⃣ Bench deadlifts (55lbs) 4️⃣ 1.5 hip thrusts (75lbs) 5️⃣ Forward lean split squats (25lbs ea) 6️⃣ Goblet squat bench touches (55lbs) Complete 3 sets of 10-12 reps of each move. For single-leg exercises, that’s 10-12 reps PER SIDE! 🙌🏼 Tip: Choose a weight that makes the last few reps feel challenging while still allowing you to maintain good form and control the entire movement. You should be working hard without having to swing, rush, or shorten your range of motion to finish. That might mean lighter dumbbells or starting with bodyweight! Build control first, then gradually increase your weight as you get stronger. A few other tips to get more out of every rep ⬇️ ✔️ CONTROL the lowering portion. Don’t let momentum do the work! ✔️ On step-ups, push through the foot on the bench and minimize pushing off your bottom foot. ✔️ For 1.5 hip thrusts, one full rep + one half rep = ONE rep. ✔️ For goblet squat bench touches, lightly tap the bench instead of sitting down and relaxing. And the great news?! I regularly program these moves in Movement With Julie, so you’ll get plenty of opportunities to practice them and get stronger! 💪🏼 Don’t have a bench? I ALWAYS include “no-bench” alternatives, so you can follow along with the equipment you have! 😉 Which move are you trying first? 👇🏼 #legs #legworkout #glutes #homeworkout
