#gerrymandering #midterms #vote The 2026 Midterm Election will see more than a dozen newly drawn Congressional districts because of all the gerrymandering Republican controlled states and Democratic controlled states embarked on last year in a rare mid-decade gerrymander. The Republicans started it after President Trump demanded Texas gerrymander to squeeze out five more House districts that could flip for Republicans. Then California responded with its own gerrymander to flip five House districts from Republicans to Democrats. But it didn’t stop there, several other states also gerrymandered their congressional maps. The question is – what did all that accomplish? Did either part gain an edge in this upcoming Midterm election? Or is was it all a dummymander? This video shows you exactly how gerrymandering works, the pitfalls of it and how all that re-drawing of maps could backfire.
