I just moved to Conway amd even though its new construction Im throughly convinced the land my house is on is haunted. Ive been here a whole week and half and already have 3 wtf incidents

Girllllll!! I live in Columbia, and I have a great aunt who was in that asylum. 😭 Before the revitalization we went there a few times and to be fair I AM pretty sensitive, but just DRIVING THROUGH and parking beside some of those buildings made the hair on the back of my neck randomly stand on end and I would randomly get the heaviest feelings, headaches, massive anxiety and the worst feeling of dread and then it would disappear. NOPE! Nope nope!! It’s better now but not gone at all. I think there must have been a quiet cleansing or fifty 😁 when they renovated the area. But anyone who grew up around here will answer that question with an immediate, emphatic HELL NO!! And most people who did brave living there have STORIES!! 🫣 the bars are fun there though!!

I don’t how far you are from Joanna SC but there’s a place called “haunted hospital” it’s a haunted attraction during Halloween but it’s actually very very haunted. Hell I don’t even know if it’s still standing I think it got damaged during Helene. But I had a crazy experience there when I was younger helping set up for the season with the old owner and their family. I willNEVERR step foot back in that building again

Before the asylum was torn down, my friends convinced me to go there for a project for our photography class at USC. The look on our professor’s and classmates face when she saw the final photos was something I’ll never forget. She loved them but told us to be careful. The asylum was beautiful but I had a feeling in the back of my head the moment I stepped on the property and especially in the basement. There was a section where water used to flow like a sewer system that divided the asylum. I’m sensitive to certain areas, We never got to that side and something was screaming at me not to go there. The only other place I found in Columbia that gave me that feeling was the apartments at the Mills.

There is a house about an hour from me that is supposedly a portal. It was a hospital in which they had a dying room (basically because they didn’t have refrigeration, they put the people who were dying in the room with the dead), but then it was a hostel and something else I think…anyway, the lore is that they never allowed people on the floor with the dying room because lots of stuff kept happening. And now it’s “just” a family residence. And…I’m so curious about that family. 🤣

I did a tour at the Battery Carriage House. Didn’t see anything but the tour guide told us some stories of things that have happened during a tour. Now, I will say, the vibe IS heavy.
