@alexcrockford: Little family trip to Glastonbury ☔️ Do you ever feel a calling to a place? A land, or an area of the world? I have a long list of those places, and Glastonbury has been on it for a while. It's only a few hours from where I live, but I finally booked a weekend there for me, my wife and my son. With that calling came a vision of how the trip might go. Quiet moments in sacred places where I could tap in, meditate and connect with the land, the spirits, the history and the ancestors who've been there before. Whether that was in the Abbey, at the Tor, or on slow outdoorsy walks with the family. Well… our first stop on the way was Avebury. When we got hit with ice-cold sideways rain, I knew my expectations might need adjusting 😁🌧️ The storm lasted all weekend, with continuous downpours and really high winds. There was no chance to pause anywhere for those quiet tap-in moments I'd imagined. We were just ticking off locations, with no real space or time to be in any of them. It was still a beautiful weekend for us as a family, but for me it became a chance to connect with deeper trust, surrender to the flow of life and let go of expectations. How often do you hold a rigid vision of how a day or an event should go, then create resistance within yourself when it doesn't go to plan? How skilled are you at letting the flow of the universe move through you, moment to moment, while still keeping good energy? Knowing that this is meant to be for some currently unknown reason? One last thought. I think we're called to places for two reasons. First, just being on the land can activate certain parts of our being, maybe a past-life lesson or a remembering. Second, being present there and anchoring our light also does something for the land itself. That's what I surrendered into: knowing that my presence there was simply enough. Do you ever feel this when you travel and do grid work? Anyway, being there has only deepened my interest in, and personal research into, so many multidimensional topics: King Arthur, Jesus & Mary Magdalene, fairies, dragons, witches & wizards, ley lines, and the ancient cultures that came before us. 🙏🌟💙
