@shadow.4ever4u: #Love #foryoupage❤️❤️ #MahmoudDarwish #rumi #xyzcba Mahmoud Darwish (1941–2008) was one of the most famous Palestinian poets in modern Arabic literature. He was born on 13 March 1941 in the Palestinian village of Al-Birwa, in Galilee. His family was displaced during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war, an experience that deeply influenced his poetry. He became internationally known for writing about Palestine, freedom, identity, love, and exile. His poetry expresses the pain of losing one’s homeland and the longing to return. He published many important works, including Memory for Forgetfulness, Mural, and Why Did You Leave the Horse Alone? His famous poem On This Earth contains the powerful line: “On this earth, there is that which deserves life.” His poems have been translated into many languages and read around the world. He received several international literary awards and became a symbol of Palestinian cultural identity. Mahmoud Darwish died on 9 August 2008 in Houston, USA, but his words continue to inspire generations. Shadow. 👽🐺

Some treat it as a moment. Others invested their soul. The weight is never equal. May that heavy burden ease, while those who took it lightly face what they deserve. 💎🪽
