@aireports2026: Claude Mythos 5.5 Leaked. You Still Can't Use It Anthropic's own website said "Claude Mythos 5.5" six times, hidden in the page's code: the hidden heading and the logo's alt text. The visible page still said 5.1. 👀 Wayback Machine, Oct 31: 6 matches. TestingCatalog posted the find on Nov 1. Under five hours later: 0 matches, and the heading read "Claude Mythos 5.1". Plot twist: that hidden heading had read "Claude Claude Mythos 5" for two months. One Claude too many, one version too old. The typo survived two months. The new number survived five hours. Mythos is Anthropic's most capable Claude, only for approved partners. You get Fable, the same model with the safety filters on. And in June, US export controls got Fable 5 and Mythos 5 suspended for all users for 19 days. Bonus: in October a bot added "Fable 5.5" to LiteLLM with prices copied from Fable 5.1; another bot removed it about 28 hours later (Azure didn't list it, calls returned 404). Mythos 5.5 is not announced. As of Nov 3, 2026, Anthropic has not commented publicly.
