I have some deep questions that have been occupying my mind. Who am I really? Am I my brain, my body, or my soul? If I am my mind, why can’t I consciously control my body’s biological processes, such as hormone levels, muscle growth, height, bone density, memory, healing, and reaction speed? If I am not my mind or my body, then what exactly am I? Is the mind an independent entity, or is it simply the result of brain activity? What is consciousness, how does it emerge, and why do we experience a sense of self? If I lose my memories, my personality changes, and my body changes over the years, what makes me the same person I was ten years ago? Is personal identity based on memory, the body, consciousness, or the soul? If scientists created an exact copy of my brain, body, memories, and personality, would that copy actually be me or another person who believes they are me? And if all my memories and personality could be transferred to another brain, would I move with them or remain in my original body? Moving beyond human existence, what are dark matter and dark energy, and why does most of the universe remain unexplained? What exists beyond the observable universe? Is the universe infinite, or does it have boundaries? Is everything in existence merely the result of physical and chemical processes? If everything follows physical laws, does that mean the universe will eventually come to an end? What could exist after the universe reaches its ultimate fate? Could there be other universes? Why does the universe exist instead of nothing? If everything has a cause, what is the ultimate cause of existence? Why do the laws of physics exist, and where did they come from? I would sincerely appreciate thoughtful answers from scientists, professors, philosophers, and researchers. I am looking for scientific, philosophical, and religious perspectives, and I want to understand what we actually know, what remains a hypothesis, and what is still a mystery.
