@aminmansouritherealtor: 🇹🇳 Zaytouna Mosque – A Journey Through Islamic History. 🕌 Today, I had the pleasure and blessing of praying at the beautiful Zaytouna Mosque, located in the heart of the Medina of Tunis, one of the oldest and most historic parts of Tunisia’s capital. Dating back to the early 8th century, Zaytouna Mosque is not only a place of worship but also one of the great historical centres of Islamic education, where generations of scholars studied and shared knowledge. The Medina itself was recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, with centuries of history, traditional souks, beautiful architecture and around 700 historic monuments. Walking through these streets feels like travelling back in time. Every corner has a story, and every building carries a piece of our history.
