@thesheetflow: How to split a $500 Christmas budget so it doesn’t turn into $900 🎁 Give every name a cap before you shop. #christmasbudget #christmasgifts #giftideas #Budgeting
oh shit I'm just giving the kids $50 cards and there's only three of them. I don't have a partner I don't have parents I don't like any of my siblings I don't doing anything for teachers or coworkers and I'm not wrapping and I'm not doing cards so dress that money is for me😁❤️

If I only had $500, my siblings and coworkers wouldn't get anything. My partner would get maybe a small gift and my parents would get maybe a small gift. Everything else would go to my kids.

How about we just have a gathering with games, great food, & loving people. Skip the entire charge card ordeal.🎄

Christmas is all about money and gifts for a lot of people. Ask the kids if they remember or still have what they got last year. Memories last a lifetime

As a teacher of 40 years, it is always the involved, supportive parents who bring gifts. So these comments are very telling. Get them a $10 starby’s card. It’s just a token of appreciation.

My sisters and I stopped buying gifts for each other years ago because there is nothing any of us needs or wants that we can't get for ourselves. Same with my husband.

At our age we buy our adult children a few $$$ nice gifts & shower the teens & college grand children with things they need & extra gift cards. We have a big family gathering with family traditions. Once again at our age it might be our last and we want it to be remembered.

The spouse and I do not celebrate Hallmark holidays. Teachers and coworkers are exactly that. Print a card off the internet and siblings will understand if you don’t get them anything. One of Americas biggest problems is as a population we are very materialistic. Spend time with your loved ones and that’s the greatest gift.

I do 250 on my young daughter . 100 for my older grown kids. 150 each grandchild (2). Usually 100ish on husband. don't do coworkers, friends, teachers . immediate family only.

I'll never forget when my MIL scooped on my Amazon account and then threw a fit because we "spent too much on the kids and not enough for the rest of the family".
