I have one question. With the Vatican and Catholic Church showing so much corruption, why is Catholicism sitting at just over half of total menbers of total number of Christians (50.1%)? Blind faith? Sounds like a decent answer, but why? I'm a Southern Baptist, and we have one Catholic Church in our small town of <30,000 residents. On the other hand, we have approximately 11 Baptist Churches, and approximately 30 other churches divided between the rest (Pentacostal, Four Squares, Methodist, Presbyterian) The 'Yankees' up north in New England need to wake up. Why would anyone think that going through a priest to confess their sins is the way things should be done? The Bible does say that we should confess sins to one another, but the Catholic Church takes this to extremes...Okay, more than one question...lol...
I get what you are doing here, but you can't assume that everyone is Catholic even though the numbers are one half. I kinda get that from you. I wonder how you would feel if you attended a church that actually preaches Scripture.. I have a few Catholic friends who are transplants from New England, and they simply don't know Scripture. Does the Catholic Church not give sermons?
