@tpfsportscards: Freddie Freeman revealed that his 69-year-old father still throws him batting practice every offseason, but says their time together means more than the actual baseball work. ❤️ Freeman explained that his dad has been throwing to him since he was a kid and continues to do so every January at his old high school in Orange County. “He’s 69 years old and he still throws. The last two years he goes, ‘Freddie, I’m not very good anymore.’ And I said, ‘Dad, that’s not the thing. It’s not about that. It’s about the hour we spend together.’” Freeman says he can always work on his swing during spring training, but those moments with his father are irreplaceable. “I just want to hit with you.
