Brad Pitt co-founded Plan B Entertainment in 2001, establishing a powerhouse independent production company that has significantly shaped modern cinema by championing unique, filmmaker-driven projects and diverse, deeply impactful storytelling. Over the decades, the company's highly impressive filmography expanded from early commercial ventures like the historical epic Troy and Tim Burton's stylish adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory into a formidable engine for prestigious, award-winning cinema. Plan B famously solidified its status as an industry heavyweight by producing three separate Academy Award Best Picture winners: Martin Scorsese's intense crime masterpiece The Departed, Steve McQueen's devastatingly moving historical account 12 Years a Slave, and Barry Jenkins' beautifully poetic coming-of-age drama Moonlight. Beyond these massive cultural triumphs, Pitt's production label has consistently backed critically acclaimed films that tackle complex social themes, including Adam McKay's sharp financial satire The Big Short, Ava DuVernay's powerful civil rights chronicle Selma, Bennett Miller's analytical sports drama Moneyball, and Lee Isaac Chung's intimate, heartwarming immigrant tale Minari. Plan B has also successfully navigated large-scale, high-stakes blockbusters, bringing audiences the global apocalyptic zombie thriller World War Z, the cerebral sci-fi journey Ad Astra, Sarah Polley's thought-provoking drama Women Talking, and the slick criminal action-comedy Wolfs. By prioritizing innovative narratives and providing a prominent platform for distinct directorial voices, Plan B Entertainment has established a monumental creative legacy, demonstrating that Brad Pitt's ultimate impact on Hollywood as a visionary producer remains just as profound as his celebrated career as an iconic leading actor. Brad Pitt’s production company, Plan B Entertainment, is headquartered in America at 9150 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 350, Beverly Hills, CA 90212. Its European subsidiary, Plan B Europe, is located in London at Unit 17a Perseverance Works, 38 Kingsland Road, London, E2 8DD.
