Or do Singaporean households just love their packet and canned drinks? 🥤 As a speech therapist working in Singapore vs Australia, back in Australia, parents would usually offer me coffee, tea or water, mostly around tea time. ☕️ But in Singapore??? COLD PACKET DRINKS. CANNED DRINKS. SO MANY OPTIONS. 🧃🧋🫖🧊 Once, a parent even offered me warm water and I felt SO LOVED. 🥹 It reminded me of a mother telling you to drink warm water because it’s better for your health. For context, I’m a speech therapist in Singapore supporting autistic children and children with speech sound disorders, so I get to visit different families in their homes. It’s these little interactions that make my day. ❤️ To all the parents who have so graciously offered me drinks, THANK YOU!! Please know that you really don’t have to! I usually bring my own water bottle, but I appreciate the thoughtfulness so much. 🫶🫶🫶
