I work at McDonald’s, during one of my shifts our entire systems went down so we couldn’t take any orders, it had been down for so long that someone had gone and put traffic cones down to block off drive-thru so we didn’t have to keep telling people that we couldn’t take their orders. Not FIVE MINUTES later someone had moved the cones and pulled into drive thru and despite me telling them over the headset that we couldn’t take any orders he was trying to order, I had to tell him our systems were down and we couldn’t take any orders TWO MORE TIMES (so three times total) before he finally drove off

I worked in a grocery store for a number of years I once Had an old lady if we sell soup so I responded with Do you want canned soup Soup base or deli hot fresh soup And then she responded with the kind you eat

a woman walked up to me while I was mopping the floor, & wearing a shirt with my jobs name on it. she proceeded to ask "Do you work here?" I stood there staring at her. then I proceeded to respond with "nope, I wear this shirt because they pay me for advertising & I come & mop the floor once a week out of the kindness of my heart." she literally said "oh, ok. sorry." and walked away.

I ordered a dress online recently and skimmed over the reviews, just in case. One was 3/5 stars, so I read it and it was along the lines of: Everything perfect, it's stunning, but I assumed it was floor length. Funny thing: it was explicitly called a midi dress, which by definition is not floor length and in every single product picture it was fully visible and obvious that the dress is not floor length

I used to work at Joanns. Once had a customer call. "Do you sell fabric?" "Yes ma'am we do." "No I mean by the yard. Do you sell fabric by the yard?" "Yes." "Are you sure you sell fabric?" "Yes I am sure we sell fabric." "But are you SURE?" "Yes I am sure we sell fabric here and Joanns fabric and crafts." "I don't want to go all the way there and you don't sell fabric, are you SURE you sell fabric?" "Yes, ma'am, I am sure we sell fabric at Joanns FABRIC. and crafts. Half our store is fabric. We sell fabric. Most is by the yard. We do sell fabric here and Joanns FABRIC and crafts." "....but are you SURE?" "Ma'am Joanns was a fabric store before a craft store we sell fabric." "Well I won't go if you don't sell fabric! *hangs up*" My manager heard the whole exchange and was laughing at me. xD
