The reason this jumpscare works so great is because what Cregger did. First Cregger showed us the lady running in the snow far away so then we thought he would have enough time. Then he hits us with a small jumpscare as the telephone so we think it’s done. And lastly he doesn’t add loud music building up the jumpscare… also it managed to scare my dad

What's annoying in this movie is that EVERYONE takes 7 business days to decide what to do. Plus, the main character doesn't seem to gain knowledge all throughout the movie. Like, that shts gonna mutate, girl, and he's like "Okay, everything's fine now. We can chill."
