@kendraworth: I talk to my kids about so many subjects that other people think are outside of their understanding from a young age. Of course, my 6 YO isn’t understanding everything I’m explaining, but she’s absorbing a good amount and as she learns more about the world around her, everything will start to click! My goal is to raise civically minded children who care about EVERYONE in this country (not just what’s best for themselves). Even we kept saying “us” in this video, if I’m being honest President Trump’s presidency has been great for me personally & financially as a privileged white woman. But I’m not voting only for myself, I’m voting for society as a whole. I want to impart those beliefs to my children from a young age and teach them to vote for the candidates who can do the most good for themselves most people, and at this point in time it is objectively NOT the Republican Party. The democrats aren’t my favorite either, but we can work on dismantling the current system AFTER we get the outrageous harm that Trump and his lackies are causing to come to an end.
