@hilaryyusko: Since my dad passed away last week, I’ve had so many people reach out to check on me, offer their love, and remind me that I’m not alone. Some have even sent flowers, and what makes that so incredibly special is that they’re all people I’ve met through my job on social media. People I once knew as complete strangers have become some of my closest friends. People who have become part of my life in ways I never could have imagined. It’s moments like this that remind me just how much the people around us matter. I truly would not be where I am today without this community, the friendships I’ve built, and the love and support you’ve all shown me. Social media may have brought us together, but the friendships are so much more than that. You’ve shown up for me during one of the hardest moments of my life, and I will never forget it.
