I completely agree. I have spent years acquiring academic qualifications, yet today I am involved in businesses ranging from finance to perfumes and automobile sales. Most of the practical skills I use today were not taught in school. Cameroon needs an educational system that identifies talents early, promotes vocational skills and encourages entrepreneurship. Not every child is meant to become a doctor, lawyer or engineer. Education should prepare people for life, not just examinations. We need skilled problem-solvers, not just certificate holders.
