@civicdutytx: Technically, the election is not completely certified in Texas until January 12 but the Media will start calling races tonight because they get a lot of data from early voting numbers. It’s weird to be in line for vote team when the media is already reporting numbers, but some of our statewide races are going to be so close. Absolutely stay in line!! The Potter County Republican Party has basically asked the Texas Supreme Court to require a hand count of all 10+ million ballots in Texas, which is ridiculous, especially since they say no actual evidence of voter fraud. Groups like Move Texas, League Of Women Voters, NAACP Texas, common cause have pushed back and filed a motion with the court asking to basically dismiss the hand count trusted But this tells us the state of the race and makes me feel optimistic for important victories of statewide candidates in Texas
