@70s.memory.lane: 🎶 Fun Facts #41 🎶 Take a trip back to the golden era of progressive pop-rock with Supertramp! 🎹 Did you know that the inspiration for their timeless classic "The Logical Song" came from Roger Hodgson's time being sent away to boarding school at age 12 for ten long years? The track brilliantly captures that message about being taught to grow up sensible, logical, responsible, and practical! And fun fact: those quirky electronic bleeps in the outro come from a Mattel Football handheld game that Rick Davies loved playing between takes! Released in 1979, Breakfast in America became a massive global smash, topping the US album chart for six weeks and even earning the British Academy's Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically in 1980! What is your absolute favorite Supertramp track to sing along to? Let us know in the comments! #Supertramp #TheLogicalSong #BreakfastInAmerica #70sMusic
