Great analysis. I think the part "Guiding me- guiding Jacopo" was narrated by Jacopo himself. Jacopo perceives himself as someone who has completely changed or gone too far. This relates to his position as the Lord and his subsequent inheritance of the identity of "Barnier". In his tower sequence he states that he can no longer be the slaveboy and that any attempt to become him again would only end up proving why he cannot. Thus, the slaveboy shifts from being his fundamental structure to merely a "mask" whose recognizability can only be mimicked. "Guiding me-" suggests that Jacopo momentarily identifies himself with the slaveboy or the man trapped in his pleasant memories of Morgana. However, Barnier cannot dream the same dreams. He therefore corrects himself with "Guiding Jacopo" suggesting a distinction between the two. The slaveboy who made the right choices (or a sort of what if version of Jacopo) earned the right to follow the path and lead the life he once sought. It was Barnier who narrated the slaveboy, the man he could have become rather than the man he is now. Let me know if I went on one of the points you've already touched
