@thestrokeassociation: Did you see Tayshelice on @goodmorningbritain yesterday? Tayshelice and her family have been sharing their story and taking part in our #SurvivalisNotEnough campaign to raise awareness of childhood stroke and the risk of stroke for children with sickle cell disease. Tayshelice was only eight years old when she had her strokes, which still affect her four years on, particularly when she is doing schoolwork. Her brain ‘feels different’ and makes her feel ‘disappointed’ but she hasn’t given up. #Stroke #YoungStrokeSurvivor #ChildhoodStroke #SickleCellDisease
